    St Lucia Charters was created from a simple belief: the best way to experience iSimangaliso is from the water. Every lake, estuary, reef and stretch of coastline tells a different story, and every journey offers another way to understand this extraordinary World Heritage Site.

    Long before a boat leaves the jetty, the experience has already begun.

    It begins with understanding the tides, watching the weather, reading the movement of birds and recognising that wildlife follows its own rhythm, not ours.

    St Lucia Charters exists to create meaningful water-based safaris that connect people with one of Africa's most remarkable natural landscapes.

    We believe the most memorable experiences are rarely the loudest. They are found in the quiet moments — the first breath of a surfacing hippo, a fish eagle calling across the estuary, dolphins appearing beside the boat without warning or the silence that follows a whale disappearing beneath the surface.
